Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 4 cups 1/2-inch cubes cooked chicken or turkey
  • 3 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
  • 2 teaspoons ground red chilies or Chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 cans (15 to 16 oz each) great northern beans, undrained
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped (3/4 cup)
  • Blue or yellow corn tortilla chips
Instructions:
  • In a 4-quart Dutch oven on medium heat, melt butter. Sauté onion and garlic in butter until onion is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except for the tomato and tortilla chips. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Serve with the tomato and tortilla chips on the side.
