Citrus-infused cream sauce elevates succulent chicken.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.33329999446869 cup white wine
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 quart fresh orange juice
  • 4 cups heavy cream
Instructions:
  • Pierce chicken breasts with a fork and season generously with salt and pepper before coating them with flour for a perfect crispy finish.
  • First, sear the meat in a large sauté pan until browned on both sides. Remove any excess oil. Deglaze the pan with white wine and allow it to reduce. Pour enough orange juice to cover the bottom of the pan. Bring it to a boil, flipping the meat regularly. Once boiling, pour in enough whipping cream to just cover the meat. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the liquid is reduced by half.
  • Lay each chicken breast on a bed of rice or toast points, if preferred. Garnish with a fresh mint leaf and an orange slice.
