Satisfy cravings with this irresistible Chicken Fajita Pizza fusion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package pizza dough
  • 2 (5 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder, or more to taste
  • 1 cup chopped sweet onion (such as Vidalia®)
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) for optimal cooking conditions.
  • Shape the pizza dough to your liking and place it on a large baking sheet or pizza stone. Use a fork to make small holes all over the dough.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for a deliciously firm texture in just 8 minutes.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil. Sauté chicken for 5 minutes until browned. Mix in garlic, chili powder, and salt. Stir in onion and bell peppers, cooking until onions are translucent and peppers are tender, approximately 5 minutes. Remove skillet from heat.
  • Transfer the chicken and vegetable mixture from the skillet to the pre-baked crust using a slotted spoon. Top with salsa and Monterey Jack cheese.
  • Continue baking in the oven until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown and the cheese is hot and bubbly, around 15 to 18 minutes.
