Delicious chicken Florentine skillet pizza with garlic-seasoned crust, topped with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes, just like pizzeria style.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 (14 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup pizza sauce
  • 0.66666668653488 cup shredded Italian cheese blend, divided
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 0.25 cup sun-dried tomatoes, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), then combine salt and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  • Place fresh spinach in a microwave-safe steamer with water. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Drain the spinach, then gently press out any remaining water.
  • Flatten pizza dough on a dusted surface to form a 14-inch circle.
  • Drizzle oil in a 12-inch cast iron skillet, then season the bottom with half of the garlic salt. Gently press the dough into the skillet, molding the crust to hug the sides. Use a fork to create holes in the dough's bottom.
  • Spread the dough with a delicious layer of pizza sauce, then sprinkle half of the Italian cheese over it. Add a layer of spinach, followed by chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. Finish with a generous topping of the remaining cheese.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Take the dish out of the oven. Brush melted butter along the crust edges and sprinkle the rest of the garlic salt. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Place the pizza onto a pizza peel and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before cutting into slices.
