Japanese-style fried chicken cutlet with crispy panko, served with hot rice and tonkatsu sauce for a gourmet experience.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup oil for frying, or as needed
Instructions:
  • First, generously season the chicken breasts with a perfect blend of salt and pepper. Next, set up a luxurious assembly line of flour, beaten egg, and crispy panko crumbs in separate elegant dishes. Lovingly coat each chicken breast in the delicate flour, gently shaking off any extra. Then, dip the chicken into the smooth egg mixture before pressing it into the crunchy panko crumbs, ensuring a flawless coating on both sides.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, fry the chicken in oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
