Spice up your evening with flavorful Mexican tacos loaded with seasoned beef, fresh salad, and melted cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 8 jumbo taco shells
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 500g chicken mince
  • 375ml jar chunky salsa (see note)
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 500.00 ml shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 500.00 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Arrange tacos on a large baking tray according to the packet instructions. Let's move on.
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic in oil, stirring occasionally, until onion is soft, about 3 minutes.
  • Turn up the heat and add the mince. Cook for 5 minutes, continuously stirring with a wooden spoon to break it into pieces until almost cooked through. Stir in salsa, simmer, and continue cooking uncovered for 5 more minutes until the sauce thickens and the mince is fully cooked. Finally, transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
  • Bake tacos in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are warm.
  • Top your crispy taco shells with the delicious mince mixture, fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and melty cheese for an irresistible meal.
