Spicy Mexican hot chocolate with a kick of chili and cinnamon for a trendy twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 772.50 gm milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 long red chilli, cut into thirds
  • 150g Brand Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • Whipped cream, to serve
  • Coles Brand Ground Cinnamon, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the milk, cinnamon stick, and chili to a boil. Let it sit for 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  • After straining the mixture into a clean saucepan to remove any solids, gently heat it over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until just hot (be careful not to bring it to a boil). Lower the heat, then add the chocolate and whisk until it melts and becomes smooth. Pour the mixture into glasses, top with a dollop of whipped cream, and finish by sprinkling with ground cinnamon. Enjoy!
