Chilled tofu with Korean soy and chilli dressing

Quick and tasty vegetarian Korean duboo salad for your banquet.
Ingredients:
  • 300g block soft silken tofu, chilled, drained
  • 1 green shallot, thinly sliced, diagonally
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) soy sauce
  • 20.00 ml rice vinegar or white vinegar
  • 20.00 ml sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 7.50 gm caster sugar
  • 3.00 gm sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions:
  • Mix all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl and set it aside.
  • Dry the tofu gently with paper towel, then slice into 1cm-thick slices and transfer to a plate. Chill in the fridge until needed, and pour dressing over right before serving.
