Spicy beef stir-fry salad with a kick of fiery chillies for a flavor explosion.
Ingredients:
  • 500g bean sprouts
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 10.00 ml white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 fresh red birdseye chilli, finely chopped
  • Salt & ground white pepper
  • 36.40 gm peanut oil
  • 1 red capsicum, halved, deseeded, sliced
  • 6 green shallots, ends trimmed, diagonally thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 400g piece beef fillet, thinly sliced
  • 82.50 ml loosely packed fresh coriander leaves
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil salted water in a large saucepan. Add bean sprouts and cook covered for 1 minute. Drain and set aside. 2. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and chili in a jug. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a hot wok, sizzle half of the peanut oil. Stir in capsicum and green shallots, frying for 2 minutes until capsicum is tender. Add garlic, cook for 1 more minute. Transfer this flavorful mix to a spacious bowl. Next, sear half of the beef in the same wok with a splash of oil until browned all over. Add it to the bowl. Repeat with the rest of the beef and oil.
  • Pour the tangy vinegar dressing over the savory beef. Sprinkle fragrant coriander leaves and crisp bean sprouts. Toss everything together gently to marry the flavors. Serve promptly for the best experience.
