Spicy cheese-stuffed chillies - perfect party appetizer!
Ingredients:
  • 430g jar mild chillies
  • 250g low-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 20.00 ml fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 2.40 gm salt
Instructions:
  • Transfer the chillies to a sieve. Rinse them under cold, running water to wash away the vinegar. Gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Combine cream cheese, juice, thyme, lemon pepper, and salt in a bowl and mix until smooth. Transfer the creamy mixture into a small clip-lock bag and cut off a corner to create a simple piping bag.
  • Cut along the length of each chili, leaving the stalk tops attached. Fill each chili with cream cheese, then arrange them on a plate. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve at room temperature.
