Easy Chinese-inspired marinade with hoisin sauce, black bean sauce, and fresh ginger - a flavorful crowd-pleaser using common Asian ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (1 1/2 pound) pork tenderloins, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sherry
  • 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
  • 1.5 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 1.5 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pinch Chinese five-spice powder
Instructions:
  • Place the pork tenderloins in a shallow glass dish. Combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sherry, black bean sauce, ginger, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and five-spice powder in a small bowl, whisk well. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and let your tenderloins come to room temperature.
  • Place the pork in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly on a diagonal.
