Engage children in making a delicious pizza with their favorite toppings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 26cm frozen regular crust pizza base
  • 1 x 140g garlic & herbs tomato paste (see note)
  • 1 x 500g pkt extra-lean beef chipolata sausages (Peppercorn brand), cut crossways into 1cm-thick slices
  • 82.50 ml loosely packed fresh basil leaves
  • 120g (1 cup) light shredded mozzarella (Mil Lel brand)
  • 1 bunch rocket leaves, trimmed, washed, dried
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Have the kids place the pizza base on the tray. Spread tomato paste evenly, leaving a 2cm border. Add sausage, basil leaves, cheese, and a drizzle of oil.
  • Place in a hot oven for 15-18 minutes or until the sausage is cooked and the pizza base is crisp. Take out from the oven, slice into wedges, sprinkle with rocket leaves, and serve right away.
