Indulge in a decadent chocolate caramel self-saucing pudding for a cozy winter treat.
Ingredients:
  • 249.00 gm self-raising flour, sifted
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder, sifted
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 257.50 gm milk
  • 62.70 gm white chocolate bits
  • 1/2 x 380g can caramel Top'n'Fill (see note)
  • Cocoa powder, to serve
  • 10.00 gm cocoa powder, sifted
  • 500.00 gm boiling water
  • 90.00 gm brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa, sugar, butter, milk, and chocolate chips until smooth. Transfer the mixture into a 10-cup capacity ovenproof dish. Create shallow indentations on top and fill them with caramel. Use a spatula to spread the batter over the caramel evenly.
  • Prepare a luscious sauce by mixing cocoa powder, boiling water, and brown sugar in a heatproof jug until well combined. Slowly drizzle the sauce over the batter using a large metal spoon for a decadent touch.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the pudding top is lightly set. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with cocoa powder before serving.
