Indulge in decadent chocolate cranberry orange slice - a must-try treat!
Ingredients:
  • 200g milk chocolate, chopped
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 20.00 ml finely grated orange rind
  • 42.00 gm orange juice
  • 300g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 83.33 gm pure cream
  • 165.00 ml sweetened dried cranberries, roughly chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 4cm-deep, 8cm x 26cm (base) bar pan by lining it with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang on the long sides.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt half the milk chocolate in the microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Add half of the oil and mix well. Pour the chocolate mixture over the base of the prepared pan and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes until firm.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, mix orange rind, orange juice, dark chocolate, cream, and cranberries. Stir constantly for 3 to 4 minutes until melted and smooth. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then pour over the milk chocolate mixture. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour until it sets.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the remaining milk chocolate until melted and smooth, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in the remaining oil and pour over the dark chocolate mixture. Chill for 3 hours until set.
  • Take the dish out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. Slice it into 18 pieces and serve. You can substitute cranberries with sultanas or currants.
