Easy homemade version of Mounds candy bar.
Ingredients:
  • 14 ounces flaked coconut
  • 5 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Combine condensed milk and vanilla in a bowl. Gradually add powdered sugar, blending until smooth after each addition. Mix in coconut until firm. Press mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and refrigerate until firm.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips in 1-minute intervals on high, stirring after each minute, until melted. Cut the coconut mixture into 1 x 2 inch bars after removing it from the refrigerator.
  • Dip each bar in chocolate on a fork, ensuring it's fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before placing on waxed paper. Repeat for all bars. Allow bars to air-dry for several hours or refrigerate for 30 minutes for quicker results. Enjoy!
