Whip up a batch of irresistible coconut-chocolate chip cookies with a perfect blend of sweet chocolate chips and tropical coconut flakes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups flaked coconut
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until fluffy. Mix in the first egg, followed by the second egg and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the mixture to the butter until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and coconut. Place spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges turn golden, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Let them cool on the cookie sheets briefly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
