Elevate classic pumpkin bread with chocolate chips and almonds for a delicious breakfast twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1.6666667461395 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup chopped toasted almonds
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C, and generously coat the inside of a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, and baking powder. Add pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, water, and eggs; mix until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips and almonds. Transfer the batter to the loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
