Indulge in the effortless harmony of rich chocolate and toasty hazelnut for a delicious treat that speaks volumes with every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 12 savoiardi sponge finger biscuits
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) chocolate liqueur or hazelnut liqueur
  • 160g (1/2 cup) chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 75g (1/2 cup) dry-roasted hazelnuts, finely chopped
  • Flake chocolate bar, crumbled
Instructions:
  • Arrange half of the ladyfinger cookies on the bottom of a square dish measuring 20 x 20cm and 5cm deep, cutting them to fit as needed. Pour half of the liqueur over the cookies.
  • Whip the cream in a bowl with an electric beater until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the chocolate hazelnut spread.
  • Layer half of the creamy mixture over the savoiardi, followed by half of the hazelnuts. Add another layer of savoiardi, drizzle with the remaining liqueur, and spread the rest of the creamy mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to enhance the flavors.
  • Mix the Flake bar and remaining hazelnut in a bowl, then sprinkle the mixture over the slice.
