Chocolate Caramel Commotion Bars

Indulgent chocolate caramel bars with layers of peanuts and butterscotch for the ultimate sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 serving Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 0.75 cup butter, divided
  • 1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream, divided
  • 1.5 cups marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter, divided
  • 1.5 cups salted peanuts, finely chopped
  • 1 (14 ounce) package caramels, unwrapped
  • 0.25 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a medium saucepan, gently melt 2 cups of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of butter on low heat until smooth. Take off the heat, mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, then add flour. Pour the mixture into a prepared pan, bake for 12 to 15 minutes until firm, then let it cool.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, melt 1/4 cup butter. Add sugar and 1/4 cup cream and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in marshmallow cream, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and peanuts. Spread the mixture evenly over the baked layer and let it cool.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the caramels with 1/4 cup of cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Spread this decadent mixture over the marshmallow layer and allow it to cool until firm.
  • In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and 3/4 cup of peanut butter together over low heat. Spread the mixture over the caramel layer and refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
