Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 bag (12 oz) miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer. Add flour, baking soda, vanilla, and oats. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spoon teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until lightly browned. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then transfer from the baking sheets to cooling racks.
