Rich chocolate pudding made with creamy milk, eggs, and decadent chocolate, finished with butter and vanilla, chilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, milk, and chocolate until chocolate melts and mixture thickens. Remove from heat, stir in egg yolks, then return to heat for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat, and mix in butter and vanilla. Chill before serving.
