Indulge in rich and gooey dark chocolate fondants for the ultimate decadent dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g butter, chopped
  • 2 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 3 Free Range Eggs
  • 110g brown sugar
  • 50g plain flour
  • 50g self-raising flour
  • 10.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 6 60% Extra Dark chocolate balls, unwrapped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C and generously grease six 2/3 cup (160ml) ovenproof dishes.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter with chopped chocolate and coffee powder, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until smooth.
  • In a bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the eggs and sugar until pale and creamy. Sift in the combined flour and cocoa powder. Gently fold to combine. Add the chocolate mixture and fold gently again. Divide the mixture evenly among the prepared dishes and press a chocolate ball into the center of each. Bake for 12 minutes or until firm to the touch. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before turning onto a serving plate. Serve immediately.
