Chocolate Hazelnut Lava Cakes

Impress with decadent chocolate hazelnut lava cake, ready in just 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon shortening
  • 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup fat-free egg product
  • 1/3 cup hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease and flour 12 regular-size muffin cups. In a medium bowl, mix chocolate chips with oil and microwave uncovered for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Add 1 cup powdered sugar and egg product, whisk until smooth. Stir in hazelnut spread and flour. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 9 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft. Allow the cakes to rest for 1 minute. Invert a serving platter over the muffin cups, flip them over, and remove the cups. Dust the cakes with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and serve them warm.
