Indulgent chocolate truffles: perfect for gifting, even better for savoring.
Ingredients:
  • 250g good-quality milk chocolate, chopped
  • 40g butter, chopped
  • 14 roasted hazelnuts
  • 60g good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine milk chocolate and butter. Microwave on medium for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every minute with a metal spoon until almost melted. Once smooth, let it cool for 30 minutes until it thickens for rolling into balls.
  • Shape teaspoons of the delicious chocolate mixture into enticing balls, gently pressing 1 hazelnut into the center of each one before giving them a final roll to seal in the goodness. Lay them delicately on a plate and let them chill in the refrigerator until completely firm.
  • Place rich, dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl suitable for microwave use. Heat in the microwave, uncovered, on medium power for 1 minute, stirring with a metal spoon until it is nearly melted. Stir vigorously until the chocolate is silky smooth. Let it cool slightly before using.
  • Place the truffles on a wire rack set over a tray. Fill a small snap-lock bag with chocolate. Snip a corner of the bag with scissors and drizzle chocolate over the truffles for decoration. Chill until firm, then serve.
