Decadent chocolate mayo cake baked in a 9x13 pan.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1.3333300352097 cups water
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.6666699647903 cups white sugar
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes until fluffy. Add mayonnaise and melted chocolate; beat on low speed until fully mixed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this flour mixture and water alternately to the chocolate mixture in four portions, beating thoroughly after each addition. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown, then allow to cool.
