Impress with this decadent chocolate mousse cake, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Follow the package instructions to prepare and bake the cake mix for two 9-inch layers. Allow the cakes to cool, then gently remove them from the pans.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk and melted chocolate in a large bowl. Gradually mix in water and instant pudding until smooth. Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  • Take out the chilled chocolate mixture and gently stir to soften. Mix in the whipped cream, then chill again for at least one more hour.
  • Start by placing a layer of cake on a serving plate. Add 1 1/2 cups of mousse on top, then layer with the second cake. Frost the entire cake with the rest of the mousse and chill in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve. Finish by topping it off with fresh fruit or chocolate shavings for a beautiful presentation.
