Indulgent chocolate oatmeal cookies loaded with chocolate chips. Irresistible!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Blend in the first egg completely, then add vanilla extract with the second egg. Gently mix in flour until just incorporated. Stir in oats and chocolate chips until evenly combined.
  • Scoop dough by the tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 11 to 12 minutes until cookies are set. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
