Indulgent and quick dessert: Freddo and peanut butter dump cake bakes in 5 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 12 choc ripple biscuits
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 9 x 12g Dairy Milk Freddos
  • 200g smooth peanut butter
  • 540g pkt chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 150g unsalted butter, chilled, thinly sliced into 30 pieces
  • 125ml (½ cup) milk
  • Cream, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced) and prepare a 5cm-deep, 20 x 26cm rectangle cake pan by greasing it and lining it with baking paper, leaving some paper to overhang the sides.
  • Place a single layer of biscuits on the bottom of the cake pan. Drizzle condensed milk over the biscuits. Top with Freddos, filling any spaces with dollops of peanut butter. Sprinkle cake mix evenly and spread it with a fork. Arrange butter in rows over the cake mix, then pour milk over everything.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Allow the cake to cool in the tin completely. Gently transfer the cake to a serving board using the baking paper. Enjoy with a dollop of cream, if desired.
