Cinnamon and Orange Glazed Carrots

Cinnamon-glazed baked carrots - ideal for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect temperature before you start cooking.
  • In a large pot, simmer carrots in salted water until slightly tender. Drain after 5 minutes.
  • Combine butter, orange juice, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl, whisk until sugars are dissolved. Add carrots to the mixture, toss to coat, then transfer to a 1-quart baking dish.
  • Roast in the oven until carrots are tender, for about 15-20 minutes.
