Cinnamon-Popcorn Snack

Create a crowd-pleasing snack by combining popcorn, peanuts, raisins, Cheerios®, and a touch of sweetness.
Ingredients:
  • 8 cups popped microwave popcorn (from 3-oz bag)
  • 5 cups Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1 cup honey-roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove any unpopped kernels from the popcorn. Combine the popcorn, cereal, peanuts, and raisins in a large bowl; set aside.
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, bring corn syrup, honey, butter, and cinnamon to a boil. Take off the heat and mix in the vanilla. Drizzle over the cereal mix and toss until well coated. Spread evenly in an ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow the pan to cool on a rack while stirring occasionally. Store with a loose cover.
