Create a vibrant citrus syrup for a refreshing drink anytime.
Ingredients:
  • 187.50 ml ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 131.25 gm orange juice
  • 65.63 gm lemon juice
  • 268.75 gm caster sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Turn the heat up to high and bring the mixture to a vigorous boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and gently simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until it thickens slightly. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine sieve into a jug, then chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until cold.
