Citrus-infused cake with graham cracker crumb crust for a delightful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C, then generously grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  • Combine flour, 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, softened butter or margarine, orange juice and eggs. Beat until smooth for 2 to 3 minutes. Fold in walnuts and transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then flip it onto a serving plate and top with Brown Sugar Glaze.
  • For the enticing brown sugar glaze, simply mix together confectioners' sugar, water, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and vanilla. Adjust by adding more sugar or water until you reach the desired consistency for a glaze that drizzles effortlessly.
