Try a classic beef stroganoff for a delicious family favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 200g white rice
  • 500g beef rump steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium brown onion, thinly sliced
  • 200g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 175g pkt beef stroganoff recipe base
  • 37.60 gm Brand sour cream
  • 20.00 ml parsley flakes
  • MasterFoods black peppercorns, freshly ground, to serve
  • Steamed baby broccoli, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare SunRice Long Grain White Rice as per package instructions.
  • Heat half of the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add half of the beef and cook while stirring for 1-2 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining beef.
  • In a pan over medium heat, heat the remaining oil and add the onion and mushroom. Sauté for 5 mins until onion softens. Add back the beef and its juices, stir in MasterFoods Beef Stroganoff Recipe Base, and simmer on low heat for 10 mins.
  • Stir in sour cream until heated through. Serve beef stroganoff over rice in bowls. Garnish with parsley and pepper. Enjoy with baby broccoli on the side.
