Create a festive holiday cheese ball with cream cheese, cheddar, and seasonings. Roll in pecans and enjoy with crackers and veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup minced green bell pepper
  • 4 scallions, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, about 1 small lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, for rolling
  • To serve:
  • Crackers
  • Fresh vegetables, such as celery sticks or radishes
Instructions:
  • Prepare the cheese ball mixture by combining cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bell pepper, scallions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Mash everything together with a big fork until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings to suit your preference.
  • Lay the pecans flat on a clean surface or cutting board.
  • Shape cheese balls: Divide the cheese ball mixture in half. Form each half into a ball using your hands. Roll the cheese balls in chopped pecans until fully coated. Repeat with the remaining half.
