Simplify and enhance flavor with this clever six-ingredient recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1kg premium beef mince
  • 750ml Mutti Tomato Passata
  • Olive oil spray
  • 360g fresh lasagne sheets
  • 340g tub bechamel sauce
  • 125g (1 cup) tasty cheddar, coarsely grated
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a large non-stick saucepan over medium heat, brown the mince by stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps for 4 minutes. Stir in the passata and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Prepare the baking dish by coating it with oil. Spoon a generous amount of the mince mixture onto the bottom. Add a layer of lasagne sheets, cutting to size. Spread one-third of the mince mixture on top of the lasagne sheets. Repeat layering with the rest of the mince mixture and lasagne sheets, ending with a final layer of mince mixture.
  • Mix the bechamel sauce and half of the cheddar together, then spread over the mince mixture. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar on top. Place the dish on a baking tray and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
