Classic slow cooker meatloaf: timeless flavors, minimal effort. Set it and forget it for 3-4 hours. Perfect for easy meals and delicious leftovers like meatloaf sandwiches.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried sage leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped, or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 slices bread, torn into small pieces
  • 1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 4 1/2- to 5-quart slow cooker by lining it with foil and spraying the foil generously with cooking spray.
  • Combine all the ingredients, excluding ketchup, in a large bowl. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the center of a slow cooker. Spread ketchup over the top of the loaf.
  • Cover and cook on Low heat for 3 to 4 hours until a meat thermometer inserted in the center of the loaf reads 160°F. Transfer the meatloaf from the slow cooker to a serving platter and slice to serve.
