Slow cooker corn chowder with potatoes, ham, and a spicy kick from chili powder and hot sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 (14.75 ounce) cans cream-style corn
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chiles
  • 2 cups frozen corn
  • 2 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine milk, cream-style corn, cream of mushroom soup, chopped green chiles, frozen corn, hash brown potatoes, ham, onion, butter, hot sauce, parsley, and chili powder in a slow cooker. Mix well and season with salt and black pepper. Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or on Low for 6 hours.
