"Wholesome turkey chili with organic tomatoes, green chiles, and two types of beans for a delicious clean eating meal."
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 teaspoons vegetable oil, or as needed
  • 1 small white onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.3333333730698 pounds lean ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic salt, or to taste
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14 ounce) can low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (10 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium-high heat, sauté onion and garlic in oil until softened, about 5 minutes. Brown the turkey for about 6 minutes. Stir in chili powder, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, and garlic salt and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, broth, tomato puree, and green chiles. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 30 minutes until flavors meld. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
