Easily whip up spooky Halloween cookies on the stove!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose or unbleached flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • Powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Using an electric mixer, blend all ingredients except powdered sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Transfer the batter into a plastic squeeze bottle with a narrow opening. Heat an 8-inch skillet over medium heat until hot and lightly grease it.
  • Quickly and skillfully squeeze the batter to create a star shape with four straight, thin lines intersecting at the center. To make the cobweb design, carefully squeeze thin streams of batter to connect the lines.
  • Cook for 30 to 60 seconds until the bottom is golden brown, then gently flip. Continue cooking until golden brown; then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Bake the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet for 5 to 7 minutes or until almost crisp. Once done, remove them from the sheet and allow them to cool before sprinkling with powdered sugar. Store the cookies in a container with a loose-fitting cover.
