Decadent cocoa oatmeal cookies with chocolatey raisins for a delightful twist on a classic treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together butter or margarine with the sugars until smooth. Incorporate eggs and vanilla, mix thoroughly. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; ensure proper mixing. Fold in oats and raisins, stirring well.
  • Place rounded tablespoonfuls of dough on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are almost set. Avoid overbaking. Allow cookies to cool for 1 minute on the sheets before transferring to wire racks. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
