Energizing chocolate oatmeal cookies with oats, cinnamon, cocoa, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.25 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Begin by collecting all the necessary ingredients. Then, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare your cookie sheets by greasing them.
  • Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together margarine, brown sugar, and white sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in the flour using a wooden spoon. Finally, fold in oats and chocolate chips.
  • Use a spoon to place dollops of dough 2 inches apart on the lined baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges turn golden. Let them cool on the baking sheet briefly, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
