Create a chic French dessert with love.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tsp lavender seeds (optional)*, washed
  • 150ml mascarpone
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 250ml thickened cream
  • 125.00 ml thick yoghurt
  • 125g caster sugar
  • Lavender honey*, to serve
Instructions:
  • Cut squares from muslin, dampen with cold water, and line 6 coeur a la creme moulds with plenty of overhang.
  • Sprinkle lavender seeds over the base of each. Mix cheeses, cream, yogurt, and sugar with an electric mixer until just combined, then firmly press the mixture into the molds, covering with extra cheesecloth.
  • Chill on a tray in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Soak mold bases in warm water and gently invert onto serving plates.
  • Discard the muslin and plate the dish, drizzling with honey and garnishing with seasonal fruits, if preferred.
