Microwave mug cake - quick and easy single serving dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 beaten egg
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 drops vanilla extract, or more to taste
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.125 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Combine 1 tablespoon softened butter with white sugar until fluffy in a coffee mug. Mix in egg, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Fold in 1/4 cup flour and baking powder until smooth.
  • Combine 2 tablespoons of flour with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Use a fork or pastry cutter to mash in 1 tablespoon of butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle this delicious topping over the cake batter in the mug.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute. Keep microwaving in 10-second bursts until a toothpick comes out clean.
