Elevate your holiday baking with these festive cake-mix cookies!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • 1/4 cup green, red and white candy sprinkles
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 tablespoon green, red and white candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a spacious bowl, use an electric mixer to blend cream cheese and softened butter until smooth, around 1 minute. Scrape the sides of the bowl, then mix in the egg and vanilla until well combined. Gradually blend in the cake mix on low speed, then fold in 1/4 cup of sprinkles. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes before proceeding.
  • Place rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until edges turn light golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Cool completely, which should take around 20 minutes.
  • Frost each cookie with a generous layer of frosting using a knife and immediately add sprinkles on top. Repeat for the rest of the cookies. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
