Make festive confetti doughnuts with yellow cake mix and vanilla frosting in just 1 hour.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup from 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix (from 15.25-oz box)
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons multicolored nonpareils
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-oz container)
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon warm water
  • 1/4 cup multicolored nonpareils
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F and gently coat two doughnut pans with cooking spray.
  • Combine the cake mix, Bisquick mix, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add milk and eggs, mixing until well combined. Gently fold in 3 tablespoons of nonpareils. Fill each doughnut cup three-fourths full.
  • Bake the doughnuts for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they spring back when touched. Allow them to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • In a small bowl, mix frosting and warm water until smooth. Dip one side of each doughnut into the glaze and sprinkle with 1/4 cup nonpareils.
