Jar of White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie mix with attached tag for easy preparation. Perfect for gifts or special occasions. Just bake and enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 3 (1.55 ounce) bars white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a quart-sized wide mouth canning jar, artfully stack the ingredients as listed, ensuring each layer is firmly pressed down. Use the bottom of a clean juice glass to compact each layer, paying extra attention to the chocolate layer. Finish by adding the flour mixture as the top layer.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cookie mix by hand. Cream together 1/2 cup of softened butter, 1 slightly beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until well blended by hand. Mix until dough is smooth. Form walnut-sized balls and space 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 12-14 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely. Yields 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
