Irresistible peach cobbler with a golden-brown cookie-like crust, a perfect summer treat.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 8 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 0.5 cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Place the peaches neatly in the pan. Distribute the butter over the peaches and then evenly sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  • Combine flour, white sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together oil and beaten egg, then mix into dry ingredients until combined. Spoon over peaches and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake in the oven until the crust is golden brown, approximately 45 minutes.
