Indulge in a refreshing cookies and cream sundae treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 litre vanilla ice-cream
  • 150g packet Oreo cookies, finely chopped
  • 100g packet mini marshmallows
  • 189.38 gm thickened cream
  • 200g milk chocolate, finely chopped
  • Coloured sprinkles, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. Let ice-cream soften for 10 minutes. Fold in cookies. 2. Transfer mixture to a 7cm-deep, 14cm x 20cm airtight container. 3. Smooth the surface, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze overnight until firm.
  • **Revised Step:** Reserve 1/2 cup marshmallows. In a saucepan over low heat, combine cream and the rest of the marshmallows. Stir and cook for 10 minutes until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth. Pour this over chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Stir with a metal spoon until chocolate is melted and smooth. Let it cool for 20 minutes.
  • Scoop 2 generous portions of ice-cream into each bowl, then drizzle 2 tablespoons of luscious chocolate sauce over each. Top it all off with the reserved marshmallows and colorful sprinkles. Serve and enjoy!
