Indulge in a refreshing strawberry caramel sundae.
Ingredients:
  • 90.00 gm brown sugar
  • 60g butter, chopped
  • 126.25 gm thickened cream
  • 1 litre vanilla ice-cream
  • 250g strawberries, hulled, sliced
  • 4 butternut snap cookies, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, butter, and cream in a saucepan over gentle heat. Stir continuously for 10 minutes until the mixture is melted and velvety. Let it come to a gentle simmer, and cook for another 4 minutes until it slightly thickens. Allow it to cool for 20 minutes before using.
  • Spoon 2 scoops of ice cream into individual dishes. Add a handful of strawberries on top of each serving. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce over each dish. Finish with a cookie crumble and serve.
