Pair couscous with spicy Moroccan soup for a comforting meal.
Ingredients:
  • 200g couscous
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 18.20 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.25 gm ground ginger
  • 1.25 gm ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 40.00 ml blanched almonds, toasted, chopped
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 110°C.
  • Combine couscous, onion, oil, spices, pepper, and salt in a casserole dish. Pour in 400ml boiling water, cover, and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Fluff the dish with a fork, sprinkle with nuts, and enjoy with harira.
